Out and back flat course into Connected Lakes State Park on the paved Riverfront Trail.

Guess your finish time for this flat-ish 6-mile road run. Those with the most accurate predictions win a turkey! No watches allowed.

Point to point scenic trail run follows the Tabeguache Trail from Bangs Canyon trail head to Unaweep Canyon for a net descent but with a significant climb. Self-supported, double track but rough.

Scenic singletrack loop on top of Grand Mesa mostly through forest and meadows with a long crest section that is narrow with short sections of exposure. Starts at 10,455' with a high point of 11,170'.

Above Colorado National Monument and Glade Park on Pinon Mesa in the Fruita section of the Grand Mesa National Forest. Run through aspen groves, lush meadows, pine forest and often a mud hole or two. Wildflowers are usually abundant.

Become part of the Summit and Plummet club!!  Very steep and difficult climb to the summit up the main trail from the Palisade trail head then descend a marginal trail with exposure down the Clifton side for the typical fiery

This is the Striders “other” prediction race, with prizes being re-distributed to those running closest to their pre-race predictions. Rolling paved not-too-hilly course. North on Rosevale Rd, left onto Monument Rd, left onto S.

The Appleton Freezer is one of the Striders' oldest organized running events with this year being it's 40th running. 

This is an old school, self supported, no frills race.

Race sign-up will occur in person the morning of the race at the start-finish line beginning at 7:15AM.
